If you want to share ratings and read what others think, Letterboxd is your app. If you want a private, full tracker for all your content in your own language, Cinemaniac is the one.
Can I track TV shows on Letterboxd?
No. Letterboxd is exclusively for movies: there is no TV show tracking, no episode tracking, and no plans to add it. If you want to track both movies and TV shows in one place, Cinemaniac is a great alternative.
Does Cinemaniac have social features like Letterboxd?
No. Cinemaniac is a personal library. There are no public reviews, no follower system, no social feed. If sharing your ratings and reading reviews from others matters to you, Letterboxd is the way to go. For a private, personal tracking experience, Cinemaniac is a good fit.

Can I import my Letterboxd data to Cinemaniac?
Currently, Cinemaniac does not have a direct import feature from Letterboxd. However, you can export your Letterboxd data as a CSV file (available to all users) and manually rebuild your collection in Cinemaniac. A direct import feature is something I'm considering for the future.
